Adult ONE TIME Wheel Throwing Class on Friday Evenings
Fridays 6pm-8pm
$60/person up to 8 people
Instructor: Kara Chambers
Friday evening wheel class is a one time, 2 hour class where beginners can experience throwing clay on the potters wheel. We will focus on the basics- wedging, centering, lifting the walls and forming. You will get to keep 2 pieces. At the end of the class, you will pick a glaze color. We will do the rest! This includes trimming your pieces, drying them slowly, bisque firing and then glazing your work and firing it in the glaze kiln. As you can see, this takes a while. Your work will be ready for pick up in 2-4 weeks.
If you need your pieces shipped to you, that is an additional cost of $45 per box (a box can fit 4-5 pieces) and you can purchase that here.

*Please note that there is a lot that can happen within each step of the process and there is no guarantee that your piece will make it. We will try our best and they usually come out of the kiln just fine but there is always the chance that it won’t. So come for the experience and have fun!
