SUMMER Adult Wheel Throwing Class, Thursday Evenings
THURSDAYS 6-9pm
Beginner & Intermediate Wheel
Session 1: June 26, July 3, 10, 17,
Session 2: July 24, 31 Aug 7, 14
$200/session
Beginners will learn the basics of wheel throwing- wedging clay, centering on the wheel and forming/shaping the clay. Intermediate students will be challenged with different throwing projects each week -from throwing sets of cylinders, to closed forms and nesting bowls.
Students will also explore different decorating and glazing techniques.
Instructor: Cassandra Duft
**Open Studio is on Tuesdays from 6-8pm and is time for students to practice what they are learning in class and have extra studio time to finish any projects. Cost is included in the class price.
Cost also includes ALL materials: Clay, underglazes, glazes and firing fees.
