8 Week Winter Session - Tuesdays January 7, 14, 21, 28 February 4, 11, 25, March 4
This is for beginner to intermediate students. No prior experience necessary. You will learn step by step how to throw on the wheel from start to finish and make projects based on experience including mugs, bowls and vases. You will learn how to attach handles as well as explore different decorating and glazing techniques.
Instructor: Laura Elm
**Open Studio is on Mondays from 4-6pm and is time for students to practice what they learning in class and have extra studio time to finish any projects.
Cost includes ALL materials: clay, underglazes, glazes and firing fees, as well as open studio time.
The exception is for ADVANCED GLAZES. These glazes are runny, tricky, expensive and can ruin your pieces and the kiln shelves in not used properly. Returning students with glazing experience have the option to pay a $40 one-time charge for the use of these glazes.
